84 bird species inhabit the Triglav National Park, thus giving the visitors an exceptional opportunity to go bird-watching for common, as well as rare bird species.
If you lack knowledge about our bird species, you can seize the opportunity to go bird-watching in the company of an experienced ornithologist.
You can join one of the organised bird-watching (ornithological) excursions during the International Wild Flower Festival in Bohinj (end of May and in the beginning of June). Upon prior arrangement the guided bird-watching exursions can also be organised outside the festival period.
